Game Buzzard, is a new and innovative concept allowing gamers to come into our gaming center and try out the newest game titles available for Xbox 360 and Wii. We will be adding the newest PS3 when it becomes available in June/July. Each Xbox 360 gaming station has its own live account and Ultra Fast 22” HDMI 2ms monitor for lightning quick refresh rates and superior color. We also allow gamers to bring in their own hard drives, games and controllers to play on our system.
Game Buzzard is dedicated to not only holding competitive tournaments every weekend (check the tournament schedule on the home page for the upcoming events) but also sponsoring the best players to compete in local and national events representing Game Buzzard in those tournaments. So if you think you good enough enter our tournaments and show us.
We also feature a HDMI 125” jumbo screen with surround sound for gamers to have a truly unique experience. We often use the jumbo screen to display the finals match of our tournaments. Many Madden gamers have expressed that it was the closest experience to playing on Madden Nation! Rock Band and Guitar Hero are also gamer favorites on the jumbo screen.
We also feature a unique “classic arcade” section, where gamers can play the original arcade games that started the whole gaming industry. We have an original “Space Invaders, Asteroids and Track and Field, just to name a few. We also have newer games like Big Buck Hunter, Daytona 2 and Police 911.
Our “Gamer Lounge” features a 50” plasma TV that usually has a DVD playing in it from our library or one that a gamer brought in. We also have a small snack bar area featuring nachos, energy drinks and other snacks. Three comfortable futons surround the 50” and make for comfortable seating and also work great as beds for when we do all night lock-ins.
